Kia Canada has unveiled the pricing structure for its eagerly awaited 2025 K4 compact sedan, slated to grace our showroom this fall. The cutting-edge K4 brings a fresh wave of innovation to the compact car market, with an enticing entry point of $23,995 for the foundational LX trim.
The 2025 K4 boasts an impressive array of standard features, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop and go, and LED headlamps. The vehicle also comes equipped with a 12.3-inch multi-display and 4-inch cluster, as well as Kia Connect with over-the-air update capabilities.
"The K4 sets a new benchmark in the compact car segment with inspiring design, meaningful standard features, as well as plenty of technology to meet the needs of many," said David Sherrard, Director of Strategic Planning at Kia Canada.
Two powertrain options will be available for the front-wheel-drive K4. The standard 2.0-litre engine produces 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with an intelligently variable transmission (IVT). This configuration offers impressive fuel economy, with ratings of 7.9/5.8/7.0 litres/100km for city/highway/combined driving.
The GT-Line trim will later feature a more powerful 1.6-litre turbocharged engineon. This engine delivers 190 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The 2025 Kia K4 will be offered in five trim levels, with pricing as follows:
- LX IVT: $23,995
- EX IVT: $26,495
- EX+ IVT: $27,995
- GT-Line Turbo: $31,495
- GT-Line Turbo Limited: $34,495
The K4's exterior design showcases Kia's "Opposites United" design language, featuring bold proportions and distinctive LED lighting elements. With an overall length of 4709 mm and width of 1849 mm, the K4 offers generous interior space, including 965 mm of rear legroom and 947 mm of headroom.
Inside, the K4 raises the bar for the compact sedan segment with its high-tech cockpit. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while select models offer a nearly 30-inch digital instrumentation display combined. Premium amenities such as a Harman Kardon audio system and Digital Key 2.0 are available on higher trims.
The K4 also introduces an expanded suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. Higher trims offer additional safety features like Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist and Parking Distance Warning.
Kia has paid special attention to reducing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) in the K4, employing an acoustic windshield and acoustic tires on models with 18-inch wheels.
With its imminent arrival, the 2025 Kia K4 will undoubtedly shake up the compact sedan landscape. Prospective buyers can now place their pre-orders, and the first vehicles are expected to roll out to customers in October.
